2017 - 2018 Delaware Duck Stamp Winner
This piece was for the Delaware duck stamp contest and is my first duck stamp win. Delaware
was doing a series of ducks and dog stamps and this year was the Chesapeake Bay retriever and
canvasback ducks. As I own a chessie I thought it would be a good opportunity to try my hand at
duck stamp art. I had no idea it would win! The dog in the painting is my third chessie, Balin, so the
win was even more meaningful for me as I was able to showcase this awesome boy and promote
the Chesapeake breed.
