I took a drive one fall afternoon to clear my head and talk to God. I came upon a field with a sign that said,
"feel free to hunt" so I knew I could walk into the field without trespassing. As I sat in the tall grass I saw a pair of
ears coming towards me. It was a coyote. We regarded each other for a few moments and determining I was not a threat
it went about its business disappearing into the grass. Moments later I saw it leap into the air and pounce on something.
Soon it stood looking at me with its prize, a mouse. As it trotted away I had to smile. The sign had more meaning than I
thought. I had been "hunting" for answers and the coyote was hunting for dinner. We both found what we were looking for.
