This was a recent entry I did for the Oregon duck stamp contest. It depicts a pair of ring-necked
ducks resting on a quiet pond at sunrise. Ring-necked ducks get their name from the reddish-brown
ring of feathers around the drakes neck. It is a difficult feature to see in the field often requiring
good light to make it visible.
Painting is framed.
