A pair of tundra swans descends on a quiet lake during migration.
Every spring and fall dozens, sometimes hundreds, of tundra swans stop by a small lake near my home to rest on their migration north and south. I love to hear them calling as they descend from the heavens to the water. The sound and sight speaks to me on more primitive levels and I could spend hours watching and listening to them.
