As a child I used to spend countless hours chasing bugs and butterflies through the pastures and fields near my home. Now as an adult I find myself chasing butterflies again, but this time not to collect them for a bug collection. Instead, I am content to photograph them and bring them to life in a painting to share with others. This one was found on a walk through a mountain meadow and is part of a series I am creating in small format.
